A little background on Ann and her wonderful website (and upcoming store) before I start this post proper – thanks Ann for the write up!
Beautiful Revelry is a little company I started in April of 2012. The shop offers a boutique shopping experience & carries things that make a party pretty. Everything sold is either our own label product line, or carefully curated to ensure only the best, and the most beautiful is made available to you.
From being a bride-to-be who DIY’d her wedding, to the Mom-to-be who DIY’d her son’s nursery, to the Mom who DIY’d her son’s first birthday, it took me by surprise how difficult it was to source for sweet, charming props that were also affordable here in Singapore.
From the moment that I stitched my son’s first bunting, I knew I had found my calling as a party planner! Since then, my life has been a whirl of crafting, styling parties, obsessing over polka dots and chevrons, and dabbling in graphic design.
All of my experience, skills, and passions converged to create the perfect storm when I set up shop. I feel ultimately blessed – because I get to do something I love every single day.

There’s always a little magic in receiving handwritten notes and packages in the mail – especially if the package has been beautifully wrapped! Imagine my elation when I came home after a long 10 hour bus journey (more on this in the next few blog posts) to this:
